Migration

Move from Termius into SecureTerm.

Use Termius as the starting point, import host definitions, then centralize access, groups, audit logs, and browser-based sessions.

OpenSSH config import

Export hosts from Termius, copy the SSH config to the server, then run the SecureTerm import script.

Private key handling

Readable local IdentityFile entries can be imported; missing keys are marked inactive until reviewed.

Passwords are re-entered

Termius saved passwords usually are not exported, so add them manually in SecureTerm after import.

Review before assigning

Imported hosts can be tagged, grouped, activated, and then assigned to members.

01

Export SSH config

Use Termius export tooling to generate an OpenSSH-style config containing your saved hosts.

02

Copy to server

Place the exported config under /opt/SecureTerm/imports so the import script can read it.

03

Run dry-run import

Preview parsed hosts first, then run the import with your owner/admin email.

04

Complete credentials

Add passwords or private keys where needed, activate hosts, group them, and assign access.
